Famous Kapildhar Dhabdhaba
Srikeshtra Kapildhar is a scenic pilgrimage site in Beed district of Maharashtra state. A five-day yatra is held here at the time of Tulsi vivah. Manjarsumbha, 19 km south of Beed city, and one and a half km from there is located at the foot of a waterfall falling from a height of ten meters in a valley of small hills. Nearby is a waterfall called Kapildhar. Manjarsubha village is in Beed taluka. The roads leading to Beed, Ahmednagar Osmanabad and Ambejogais converge at this place.
Kapildhar area in Beed taluka is a holy place of Veerashaiva community. Sanjivan Samadhi of Manmath Swamy is at this place. Due to the rains since the beginning of July, many rivers and streams in the district have started overflowing. Waterfalls are also flowing in this which adds to the beauty of nature. As the Kapildhar waterfall falls from a height, the place is crowded with tourists and devotees. Tourists from Beed district and outside have also started flocking to see this waterfall that plunges from a high cliff into the valley.
Kapildhar is a religious place of Veerashaiva community in Maharashtra. Sanjivani Samadhi of Saint Shiromani Manmathswamy is located at this place. This Samadhi has completed 459 years. There is a waterfall in this area and it attracts tourists. Interestingly, this place has also received ‘B’ status from the tourism department. This tourist spot gets crowded during monsoon. Swami hails from Ningur. Manmath Swami was born in the womb of resident mother Parvati and Shivalinga Swami. Manmath Swami completed his studies under Basavaraj Shivacharya Maharaj at Manoor Math. Veerashaivism was propagated by Swami in states like Maharashtra, Andhra, Karnataka.
Yatra in the month of Shravan
A big religious festival is held at this place on Kartiki Poornima. Lakhs of devotees come from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh for this festival. Magh Suddha Panchami is the birth anniversary of Swami. Whereas Phalgun Chaturthi is the day of Samadhi. There is a big yatra at this place on the third Monday of the month of Shravan.
Temple Routine
The temple is opened for darshan at 5 am. Mahapuja is held in the morning. During Mahapuja there is Mahabhog. Prasad like Srifal, rice is shown in it. Aarti takes place at 12 noon. After that 35 to 40 kg of rice is given as Prasad to the devotees. From 5 to 7 in the evening there was Shivpat and Shiva Bhajan. The temple is closed at 10 pm.

Kapildhar Devasthan is situated at the beginning of the Ghat of Manjarsumba, adjacent to the Dhule Solapur State Highway. For this, if you are coming from Mumbai, the distance is 470 km. If you are coming from Pune, the distance is 320 km. If coming from Aurangabad, the distance is 170 km.
