Yedshi Ramlingghat Sanctuary is located in Osmanabad district. Established in 1997 Area – 22.38 Sq.Km. Animals such as wolf, deer, monkey, peacock can be seen in this sanctuary. Also there is an ancient Ram temple. There is a waterfall at a short distance from the temple. There is a cave under this waterfall. Legend has it that when Ravana took Seeta to Lanka, he stayed there. There is a bath nanny. That Nani had bathed in Madhya Sita. There was a battle between Ravana and Garuda. Then Ravana cut off the eagle’s wings and killed him. There is the Samadhi of that eagle.
Ramalinga is a place 20 km from Osmanabad and 95 km from Beed. Very beautiful forest tourist spot. The entire area is surrounded by lush greenery. After going down the valley, the newly restored Mahadev temple comes into view. Its carved construction and idols of gods and goddesses on the walls attract attention. Facing the Mahadev temple is a beautifully carved brass Nandi. Take darshan of Lord Mahadev in a peaceful atmosphere and turn your steps back to the green paths. The river running around the temple I like it a lot. What about the joy of sitting with your feet in her water? Small river but smooth water.
In front of the temple of Mahadeva, there is a Samadhi behind Nandi. There is a picture of two men standing holding a party on it. In the battle between Ravana and Jatayu, Jatayu was injured. Rama An arrow was shot here to give water to Jatayu. So a cave was formed there and a stream of water started flowing from there. Jatayu died here. Legend has it that this tomb belongs to the Jatayu bird.
The edge of this water becomes smaller in summer. But during the rainy season, a huge downpour of water keeps falling from this Aramban. Devotees come here in large numbers to see this waterfall, to have darshan of Mahadev and Jatayu here. The area is very green and rich in biodiversity. In order to protect it, the government declared an area of 2237.46 hectares as Ramilag Ghat Sanctuary in 1997. This place in Osmanabad district is the most preferred place for tourists. More than 100 species of birds are found here. The forest is divided into subtropical dry deciduous forests and thorn forests.

Osmanabad district falls in the drought prone area. But when the grace of Parjanyaraja comes, this area is destroyed. A big yatra is held here on Mahashivratri. The river flowing around the temple, the waterfall falling at the back of the temple and the monkeys jumping from here to there in the bush on the shoulder of the mountain provide a beautiful atmosphere. There is a public works department rest house here. There is a railway rest house on the Durga Devi hill in the center of the sanctuary. The best time to visit the sanctuary is from October to June.
