Sri Samarth Ramdas Mandir – Jamb Samarth

Sant Ramdas Swamy was born at Jambasmarth. This place is in Ghansawangi taluka of Jalna district. Samarth Ramdas Swami was born on Chaitra Shukla Navami Shaka 1530 (as per Hindu calendar) evening. It was 12. Even at the time of Rama birth. A Yatra is held every year on the occasion of Ram Navami in the Ram temple. This Ram Mandir is located in the house of Ramdas Swamy. Samarth Mandir is built in the memory of Sant Ramdas Swamy. The management of this temple is looked after by an organization. It was established in 1943 by Nanasaheb Dev. 55 members and 11 trustees were made through this organization. Now the institute owns 240 hectares of land. Accommodation facility is provided by the organization. This building was built in memory of Mata Rani Holkar, Indore through the donation of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar.
